Taxidermy Awards Clark began his taxidermy career in 1981. By 1996 he began to transition out of taxidermy and into a full-time art/sculpture career. Because of his success and reputation in both the taxidermy and carving fields, he has consistently been called on to judge many shows including top (world class) shows of both genres.

Judged the Master Level Fish Mounts at the 1997, 1999, and 2005 World Taxidermy Championships in Springfield, IL

Has judged Regional Competitions in Montana, Wyoming, Utah, North Dakota, Colorado, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, California, and the International Taxidermy Competition in Calgary, Alberta

Second Place, Division of Excellence, NTA Competition, Columbia, Missouri 1996.

Judge's Choice Best of Show and the Master of Masters Award, Montana Taxidermy Competition 1996.

Judge's Choice Best of Show, Utah Taxidermy Competition 1990.
